legally they can’t according to some lawsuit. :) it’s just an empty threat. your grade can go down, but not an automatic F.
I vaguely know about that, but not sure because DePaul is a private institution and attendance is pretty much required for those receiving any kind of aid from the school or the government. And I mean, we’re paying 30k a year to come here, I would think coming to class would be a nice thing to do
